Roya Ferdows, a resident of Bethesda, offers a life-coaching service to help clients become "un-stuck". Though I haven't tried her coaching service, I worked with Roya on personal training a number of years ago, and I know her to be an empathetic and effective coach in that regard. Best of all, she's offering a complementary 30-minute trial session to give you an idea of what personal coaching is all about.

Last Friday I had the luck to discover Erica Druin's enamel jewelry at the Maryland ACC Craft Fair. I kept the cards of only a few of the hundreds of booths, but when I got home to look up her site, I discovered she teaches classes in enamel work in Kensington, MD. Not Bethesda or Rockville, I know, but still a local business worth noting. I loved her work. You can see it on her website here: Erica Druin Enamels
